Cover Gallery Timeline

1. Scroll the timeline horizontally by dragging the background of the timeline fields—like Google Maps.
2. To jump between decades, click on the decade markers above the timeline field.
3. Each cover image is placed so its left vertical edge is aligned with the date of its theatrical release. That alignment is also indicated by the blue vertical tic in the upper timeline field.
4. Clicking on an image shows two things: (a) the theatrical release date in your catalog and (b) a link to the record page for that movie.
5. For movies having the same theatrical release date, the cover images are stacked with a slight offset horizontally. To expose covers in the stack, mouse slowly and horizontally across the stack.
6. If more than 10 movies have the same release date, the stack terminates with a "See more events" link. Click on that link so see the remaining titles for that date.
7. Large collections are divided into roughly equal parts. The most recent part always loads first. Other parts can be accessed by clicking on links for durations (e.g., 1930–1950) that appear above the timeline fields.
8. When titles are added or deleted from a collection, those changes should be immediately seen when this page is reloaded. If such changes do not appear, try clearing your browser's cache, then reload the page
